Miri Hamada was born in 1992 in Nankoku City, Kouchi Prefecture. Graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Oil Painting. When she started performance art, she found it was very suitable for her art decipline. Her works are characterised by not aiming to achieve, stopping, incorporating the characteristics of the place, bringing objects and sharing with the audience a series of events that take place over a period of 15 or 20 minutes. She likes to work with other artists in both tangible and intangible ways, as well as in independent projects. She lived in Mexico from 2017 to 2019.
