Mongkol Plienbangchang has been working in a long career as a performance artist. After he’d have worked in ASIATOPIA, he founded his own festival “Blurborders International Performance Art Exchange”. He has invited various artists in Thailand and from many other countries. He had visited Japan several times to show his performance art so that he has deepen the relationships with many Japanese artists.

Mongkol Plienbangchang  biography:

Born 15 August 1965 Base in Bangkok Thailand
Mongkol is started to do Performance Art since 1995.
He is the director of blurborders International  performance art exchange.
He’s the alternative artists do many art activity about social problem during the 28 years of his performance art. He had invited from the festival domestic and abroad in Europe and America also Asia.Such as Germany, Poland ,Ukraine ,Slovakia,Hungary,Czech Republic,New York U.S.A,Quebec  Canada,Mexico,China Japan,SouthKorea,Taiwan,HongKong,Indonesia,Phillipines,Vietnam,Malaysia,Singapore,India,Myanmar.
About his Performance Art, Mongkol use his body and objects to transform i-between the chaos social – political attitude, Poaching and interact. In and out of his mind, his Performance similarly the life poetry, as conditions vary in terms of time and space
and spectacular decline.
